Grace has called Yamhill County home for over thirty-five years.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she recalls having only one channel on the black and white TV and the birth of Dick Clark´s American Bandstand. Too young and too far from Philadelphia, she and her sister anticipated their rock 'n roll years together in front of the fuzzy screen. With a job transfer, the family moved to southern California and Grace´s teen years included dancing to the 60´s music and the Beach Boys. Her musical talents were not limited to school dances. Her voice opened up doors of opportunity for vocal leads in numerous musical productions. Her favorite was the character Josephine in Gilbert & Sullivan´s "H.M.S. Pinafore." Music continued to play a big role in her life as she "grew up" and worked with music ministry in her church which included solo, worship team and children´s productions. After a gap in time while she tended to the seriousness of life, Grace challenged herself and took up clog-dancing. She is an active member and dancer with the Cherry City Cloggers. In 2003 she and sixteen other dancers created a performance team, auditioned and were selected to dance at Disneyland and lead the Saturday night Starlight Parade. Dancing down Main Street with her children and their families cheering her on was a memory-maker. After all, just how many people in that parade were hearing the likes of, "Go Grandma Grace!"
